Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP)

The EF2 has many of the same features of the EF1 system. The EF2 comes with 2 addressable Signaling Line Circuits, (SLC) and is not expandable. When configured for EVAX protocol, each addressable SLC loop can handle input/output device monitoring and/or control for a total of 254 Addressable devices. Apollo protocol, each addressable SLC loop can handle addressable input/output device monitoring and/or control 126 devices per loop for a total of 252 addressable devices per EF2 panel. The System Sensor protocol allows up to 99 sensors (Smoke & Heat detectors) and up to 99 modules (Monitor & Control) per loop for a total of 396 devices per EF2 panel. Each SLC can be field wired for Class B (Style 4) or Class A (Style 6 or 7). Uses the same user–friendly Evax Systems program software as the EF1 or can be programmed from the keypad. EF2 can also auto program devices on the addressable loops.

The EF2 is also available with a built in audio packages. The system can provide 25, 50 or 100 Watts of voice evac audio. These can be configured for single circuit or up to 16 Class B speaker circuits. Class A versions and converters are available as well.

The Voice evacuation system is interfaced directly with the FACP and includes a digital message repeater. Microphone will always operate in either Stand–By or Alarm mode. Remote Microphone and additional messaging capability are also available options.
